I agree with you sbazz,, if he wanted to blame the presiden then, he should take the heat now... look at the price of gas in the back ground on this vid, has it changed much? http://www.allamericanblogger.com/15310/flashback-obama-2008-blames-bush-and-cheney-for-high-oil-prices-promises-change/

I agree with you, Speedway is always the first to raise gas prices. I haven't bought gas from them for 2 yrs. because of this.

You said "More reasons to vote him out of office. To bad Mit is running against him ." I agree, that's why I'm supporting Ron Paul, and you should too! :)

I agree. Rep Mica, Head of the US House Transportation committee will be marking u the follow-on Surface Transportation Act bill in the next few months. He believes in cutting the red tape and has a plan to do it. The bottom line is that if a project is being bilt within the existing right-of-way, then most of the environmental studies would not be required, thus trimming the timeline substantially. He uses the bridge replacement in Minneapolis of the collapsed interstae bridge as an example. They rebuilt that bridge in less than two years by cutting the BS red tape. If it can be done there, it can be done nearly everywhere. I jsut started working on a project here in the Tampa area, that will probably not be completed before I retire in five years. In fact, Ill bet that the final design phase won't be complete in that amount of time becuse we will be working on the environmental studies for the next three years.

Not rally. They spent it on foolish "feel good" transit projects that less than 1 percent of travelers use. thsi is part of the governments social engineering mentality. They also spend it on off-road bike paths/trails, museums (Pennsylvania rail Museum for example), wastefull highw landsaping which is costly to maintain, etc. Beleive me I deal with this stuff daily. Did you knw that if you take one federal doloar for a road project it adds 7 years to the timeline for build out? This is bcause of all the regulations and red tape in the NEPA. As we are jumping through hoops to kiss the environmentalist butts, the cost of a project sky rockets due to inflation. You could not believe some of the BS I hear from the public at meetings to discuss a highway project. Thanks for your comment and I would lke to discuss further.

I agree with your post this morning. Corruption is found on both sides of the aisle. Its time to hold Pelosi, Reid, McCain and other accountable. I just wish we in Illinois would make better decisons about who we elect. Keep posting. Please be a Buddy.
