Cali gas price investigations, Gov. action mean little

GasBuddy Blog -- California gasoline prices remain sky high this week, even after Gov. Jerry Brown took action last Sunday, and even after several lawmakers opened an investigation into the obvious: why prices are high.

First, let's start off with the Governor. While I can't say Gov. Brown is keeping prices at the pump high, he sure had plenty of opportunity to jump in to the situation even before gas prices skyrocketed. I personally wrote an article that sounded the warning bells last Tuesday, when the California average for gasoline was a "mere" $4.22/gal. Jerry Brown apparently sat idle as GasBuddy warned its readers with various alerts across numerous platforms. He waited not one day, not two days, not even three days, but he waited five full...

Outrageous! It can get pretty bad here in Florida sometimes, but no way near that amount (no thanks to our governor and his underlings).

NOTHING! Sit on your hands, Do nothing and Do Not draw Attention to Yourself, Governor! Big Oil continues to sell fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices, there will be NO price reduction for the cost of fuel or natural gas IN the US. No new refineries or producing less fuel for higher prices at the pump. 'Coming out of the closet' Fred's lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper economy, the jobs are Not here. Fred's economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population and the job numbers continue to be down – no matter how smoooooth talking Fred spins those numbers! People will still drive and buy fuel no matter what but it sure helps to have a job too! The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! Speculators, manipulators and the banks continue to unfairly and unjustly make the driving public pay higher prices at the pump for their personal greedy benefit. How much will gas prices go up and they will rise, the trend is always up with fuel prices. The price at the pump needs to go down to $2/gallon, $3, $3.50/gallon or $4.00 this is Not the new low! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!
